Sunday Moves

With the Memorandum of Understanding signed late Saturday by the NHL and the NHLPA, teams were able to begin playing with their rosters as of 2 hours after the John Hancocks went down.  Sunday is expected to see a lot of action, so stick here for updates throughout the day.  SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM FOR UPDATES!

 

UPDATES: 10:35AM

-The Flyers have officially announced the signing of Unrestricted Free Agent Kurtis Foster (D) to a 1-year contract.

-Scott Gomez (Montreal) has been told not to report to training camp, seemingly due to Salary Cap issues.

-The Islanders have signed Radek Martinek (D) to a 1-year deal. (@KatieStrangESPN)

-The Flyers announced that they have reacquired goaltender Brian Boucher from Carolina (along with D prospect Marc Alt) for F Luke Pither.

-The Rangers have resigned  D Michael Del Zotto to a  2-yeard deal.

-The Red Wings have invited F (and former Flyer) Mike Knuble to training camp for a tryout.

-Training Camp is officially open in Voorhees!  Reports state the largest crowd ever seen for a Flyers practice. (@RandyJMiller)

-The Rangers have announced that Matt Gilroy (D) has been signed to a 1-year deal.

-The Hurricanes have acquired Kevin Westgarth (F) from the Kings for Anthony Stewart (RW), a 2013 4th-round pick, and a 2014 6th-round pick. (@aaronward_nhl)

-Capitals have officially signed right winger Eric Fehr to a 1-year contract.

-Appears as if Center Ice will cost $59.99 for the season. Will not be free like some speculated.
